Big win for aged care nurses in NSW’s south

NSWNMA members at the Mercy Aged Care facilities in Albury and Young voted last week to accept a substantial pay rise over the next two years, which also positions them and their employer to access extra federal funding - under the Federal Government's new aged care Workforce Compact - for an even higher pay rise. WA nurses vote in favour of government’s 14 per cent pay offer

WA public hospital nurses have voted to accept the state government's eleventh-hour wage offer which will see them become the highest paid nurses in the nation after their wages rise 14 per cent over the next three years. ANF members held a mass meeting on Monday to vote on the offer. Read more
