Nurses and community health workers in rural, regional and remote Australia are invited to apply for scholarships to expand their skills in caring for local women with breast cancer. The scholarships are funded by the Ralph Lauren Pink Pony Campaign; a collaboration between Ralph Lauren and Cancer Australia.
The scholarships will be awarded for further study or attendance at conferences to improve the care and support of women diagnosed with breast cancer in rural, regional and remote areas. Nurses and community health workers providing care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women are encouraged to apply.
To date, more than 200 nurses and community health workers have been awarded scholarships to improve their skills in caring for women with breast cancer in medically-underserved areas of Australia.
Applications for the Ralph Lauren Pink Pony Scholarships will be closing Friday November 9. To apply please visit the website.
