Pioneers, ambassadors and stakeholders striving for a common good
The Australian Medicinal Cannabis Association launched on 15th July 2020.
Whilst AMCA may be the new kid on the block, its Board and Ambassadors include many of the pioneers of the Australian Medicinal Cannabis space. These pioneers have worked tirelessly for the past several years to make small but important inroads into what has been an often overburdened regulatory space.
AMCA’s Vision is to see Australia leading the world in quality, affordable and accessible medicinal cannabis and its Mission is to unite and empower committed individuals and organisations to ensure that Australia’s medicinal cannabis system is world class and patient-focused.
AMCA offers the formal framework of an association to assist committed individuals and organisations to steer the medicinal cannabis industry in a positive direction. With a focus on positive problem solving, and by prioritising, planning and targeting key actions, the impact can be multiplied to make a more significant difference.
Its founders firmly believe that it is essential to have a broad mix of members with a wide set of skills in order to meet the needs of each facet of the complex medicinal cannabis industry, especially in these early days of industry development. In fact, of the first five members to join, 3 were nurses and 2 were doctors!
AMCA is a not-for-profit association that offers a range of very affordable membership options to ensure that everyone can have a voice.
