Australia has risen 11 places in the global rankings to 13th out of 148 countries for gender equality – the highest ever ranking since the Index began in 2006.
Australia’s gender pay gap continues to shrink, with new data revealing meaningful, though uneven, progress towards fairer and more equitable workplaces.
The ANMF will advocate for better conditions for nurses, midwives, carers, students and to meet the health and aged care needs of the community in 2025.
