A global campaign led by Save the Children and Amnesty International is calling for urgent action to protect the lives and rights of 2.38 million Palestinian children living under Israel’s unlawful occupation and blockade.
Messages of support from Australian nurses and midwives are being compiled and will be delivered via the Australian Red Cross to their colleagues on the frontlines in Gaza.
The petition is the latest step in the ANMF’s Nurses and Midwives for Peace campaign to stand in solidarity with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals working in conflict zones.
The ANMF stands in solidarity with healthcare workers, aid agencies, and civilians facing an escalating humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
