Work Shouldn't Hurt - Workplace Health and Safety Survey

28 July 2023

Australian Unions are conducting their third national survey seeking input about your experience of health and safety in the workplace.

The survey will build on understanding of your experience at work, what is important to you and what you think could be improved. It covers topics about how work is managed as well as common risks and hazards.

Unions want to find out what employers are doing about these issues and will use the results when campaigning and advocating for changes.

This builds on the great use unions made of the results in the last two years around mental health and work; drawing upon the experience of more than 40,000 workers sharing their stories about workplace mental health. Now, all states and territories have agreed to introduce regulations designed to protect workers’ mental health.

Valuable input from workers has the power to bring about more changes that result in better health and safety conditions in every workplace.

Have your say and share your experiences by taking the survey here.

The survey is open until Friday 11 August 2023.
